New control and signaling devices from norelem

In mechanical and automated production, control and signaling devices are indispensable interfaces between man and machine. Their interaction ensures the effective control and monitoring of processes. In addition to the emergency stop buttons already included in the norelem range, a large selection of new control and signaling devices is now available.

Command devices can be used to set up, start and stop processes, and in emergency situations they can stop entire applications at the touch of a button. Signalling devices indicate the operating status of a machine or system and draw attention to changes and faults with colored light signals, for example. Traditionally, the color green indicates trouble-free operation, while red indicates an error, fault or stop.

Robust compact design, intuitive operation

As a rule, actuators and contact blocks in control and signaling devices form a functional unit. They are therefore very compact and can be assembled very closely to form complex control panels. The push-buttons, switches and indicator lights from norelem are designed for installation openings with a diameter of 22.3 mm.

Further features of the new control and signaling devices are their intuitive operation and high-quality, robust design. They retain their full functionality even under extreme conditions. The individual components have all the relevant international approvals, and the devices are available with protection class IP65 as standard (device part in front of the control panel). Special versions have protection class IP67. Solid hard silver is used for the contacts; all illuminated control and signaling devices are equipped with the latest LED technology.

Versatile application options, wide selection

Users can choose from various versions, including pushbuttons (standard, tactile and illuminated), double pushbuttons and selector switches (momentary, latching and key-operated). Individual nameplates with standard symbols and texts for insertion into the pushbuttons and indicator lights extend the range of applications and enable customized configurations. For the control and signaling devices, norelem offers matching plastic surface-mounted enclosures with the corresponding installation openings.
