New from norelem: Linear roller guides
Linear guides are used in many areas where bodies need to be moved with as little force and friction as possible, for example in the packaging or food industry or on internal doors in ships or trains. Norelem now also offers linear roller guides, divided into four product families.
The linear roller guides offered by norelem include straight and curved linear guide rails made of bright, hardened steel as well as two variants of the matching roller guide carriages. The linear roller guides are available in two sizes, which differ in terms of the height and width dimensions of the linear guide rails.
Linear guide rails
norelem offers its linear guide rails with and without grooves. In the version with a double-sided groove, rails can be easily assembled using a countersunk feather key. This allows the rails to be screwed directly onto a flat surface. In addition, precise alignment using a feather key makes it easier to pass over the joint. All linear guide rails with keyways can be combined as required to create complex geometries from curved and straight linear guide rails. For the versions with keyway, the feather keys are included in the scope of delivery, as are plugs that cover the screws in the rails and protect them from dirt and foreign bodies. norelem also offers the straight linear guide rails without keyway and in three standard lengths of 500, 1.000 and 2,000 mm, and also in lengths of up to 4,000 mm on customer request.
The linear guide rails can be screwed on from above and can be fitted with one or more roller guide carriages.
Roller guide carriages
The roller guide carriages 21350 have a simple mechanism that allows compensation of approx. 0.05 mm. Therefore, only straight linear guide rails can be used. The compensation mechanism of the 21351 roller carriage, on the other hand, allows a tolerance range of approx. 0.5 mm. This makes it possible to travel on straight and curved linear guide rails. The maximum acceleration here is 50 m/s² and the maximum travel speed is 5 m/s. Thanks to the integrated, one-sided pre-tensioning mechanism, the rollers always adapt to the rail contour. As a result, straight sections and curves can be negotiated with constant displacement resistance without play and wear on the roller guides is reduced. There is no need to adjust the rollers to the rail width using an eccentric pin. The roller guide carriages can simply be pushed onto the rail. Here, all carriages move evenly and without the rollers slipping on the rails.
