SST HEJS relies on GEDA GmbH's elevator solutions for two construction sites in Denmark
The German construction and industrial elevator manufacturer GEDA GmbH is represented with a GEDA Multilift P22 Premium and four GEDA 1200 Z/ZP on two construction sites in Denmark. While the GEDA Multilift P22 Premium is used at Herlev Centre City, the four transport platforms are used for the new construction of a school in Copenhagen.

Denmark's construction sites

The existing Herlev Centre City in a suburb of Copenhagen follows a holistic residential approach.
With a supermarket, stores, as well as 135 rental apartments with areas between 50 - 130 sqm, the building offers a lot for its residents. By the end of the year, it will be renovated and expanded to include additional space. The aim of the residential concept is to combine all the activities of a city in one place. From city hall, to stores or gym, to living space - all of this should come together in one place. And this is where the GEDA Multilift P22 Premium comes into play. It simplifies the daily routine for the workers and optimizes the processes on the construction site by quickly transporting the construction site workers and the materials.

The second construction site is located directly in Copenhagen at the new building of the Arenakvarterets Skole, one of the most extensive schools in Denmark. The building includes the public school, sports grounds, recreational facilities and a large public square. The school is scheduled to open and be in operation by the end of this year. The four GEDA 1200 Z/ZP transport platforms will support the work on the construction site and simplify the daily work for all involved.

The GEDA Multilift P22 at the multifunctional Herlev Centre City

In Herlev, a suburb of Copenhagen, the premium version of the GEDA Multilift P22 transports people and materials to a height of 50 meters. Thereby the device with intelligent call control approaches 11 floors
at Herlev Centre City, which are equipped with GEDA Comfort floor doors. The maximum conveying height is 200 meters and this at a speed of 54 m/min. The electronic components accessible from the platform can be easily maintained and make the GEDA Multilift P22 Premium an indispensable device for an efficient construction site. In general, the device impresses with its complication-free assembly thanks to the compact, pre-installed basic unit and the installation without separate foundation. The great advantage here is that the unit can be easily unloaded and erected directly from the truck. The basic unit consists of car, weir, flat cable pot and drive.

The GEDA Multilift P22 Premium is also a real powerhouse and can lift up to 2000 kg or 22
persons. For the work at Herlev Centre City this is a huge advantage, because it allows to work quickly and efficiently.

One school - four transport platforms

On the construction site of the new Arenakvarterets Skole in Copenhagen, no less than four GEDA 1200 Z/ZP transport platforms are used with platform C, which can transport 1500 kg. This is also the largest platform with the highest capacity of this design. The platform measures 3.2 m x 1.4 m and is guided on only one GEDA VARIO MAST. And this despite the high load capacity of up to 1500 kg or 7 persons.
At the school, two of these transport platforms are set up on the ground and travel to a lifting height of nine meters with two floor stops. Meanwhile, the other two units have been installed on the flat roof and travel to four floors, with a lifting height of 18 meters. Heights of up to 130 meters can be served with the GEDA 1200 Z/ZP transport platform. The different platform variants with different speeds and load capacities offer the customer maximum flexibility for the individual conditions on the respective construction site.
At the Danish school, for even more efficiency, the two units were set up next to each other so that they run completely parallel. In this way, more can be transported at the same time and work can be done more effectively overall.
