Secure locking for all environments
Resistant to moisture, acid and seawater: The new stainless steel snap locks with handle from HEINRICH KIPP WERK are suitable for a wide variety of interior and exterior applications. The attractively shaped locking elements integrate flush into doors, flaps or hoods. They impress not only with their elegant, reduced design, but also with their simple and secure handling. For applications requiring remote operation, a variant with Bowden cable connection is available.
HEINRICH KIPP WERK has added two product families made of A4 stainless steel to its range of latches with handles. The particularly corrosion-resistant material predestines the two new series K1850 and K1851 not only for indoor use but also for a wide variety of outdoor applications. For example, the shapely locking elements can be used in the automotive industry, medical technology, mechanical engineering, boat and shipbuilding, the motor home and caravanning sectors, aerospace and the furniture industry, among others.
Equipped with a retractable handle, the stainless steel snap locks allow flush installation in doors, flaps or hoods, where their snap function guarantees locking that is as fast as it is secure. The user activates the locking function by simply squeezing. In areas with higher security requirements, a lockable variant can be used.
The stainless steel snap locks are available in two different sizes for door leaf thicknesses from 2 to 12 mm and from 12 to 22 mm, with either a polished or matte finish. The models of the K1851 series are additionally equipped with a Bowden cable connection. This variant proves its worth wherever inaccessible installation spaces make operation difficult or ergonomic and safety aspects require distanced operation. The Bowden cable (K1646) is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.
