So that only what should be inside is inside
The visually or metal detectable standard and operating parts from HEINRICH KIPP WERK support the complex safety concepts of the food industry. Even the smallest fragments of these components can be detected quickly and reliably and ejected from the process - preventing major failures and faulty batches. KIPP will be demonstrating how this works in practice at Anuga FoodTec 2024 in Cologne using the example of a metal detector from Bizerba, Balingen.
The visually detectable operating elements from KIPP are colored ultramarine blue (similar to RAL5002). The background: The color blue is rather atypical in the food sector, so that these products can be easily identified when they come into contact with food. In addition, the control panels meet the increased hygiene requirements. "Our detectable control panels meet all relevant standards and are therefore ideally suited for contact with food," explains Samuel Rasch, Product Manager at KIPP. "We have also attached great importance to geometries that are optimized for cleaning - one example of this is our cross handle with a closed handle contour and smooth surface."
The metal detectable operating elements from the KIPP portfolio go one step further. Their components can be detected using induction technology. If fragments or complete components enter the process, special detection systems can reliably select the foreign objects - even if they are invisible to the naked eye. Fragments of up to 0.027 cm³ (size approx. 3x3x3 mm) can be detected and ejected so that large production quantities do not have to be disposed of.
All detectable operating parts from KIPP are made of EU10/2011 and FDA-compliant, glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, while the inserts are made of 1.4404 stainless steel. The maximum operating temperature is 120 °C. Available are bow, wing, star and cross handles as well as knurled knobs and clamping levers.
Visit HEINRICH KIPP from March 19 - 22, 2024 at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne in Hall 8.1, Stand A090.
