RK Rose+Krieger is expanding the design options for system planners with new sizes of its RK linear technology. The manufacturer of components and system solutions now also offers its E-II stainless steel linear units with a diameter of 50 mm in solid stainless steel. In its range of compact adjustment units, the RK Compact is now available in size 160, the first on the market with this width.
With 6,500 catalog items, RK Rose+Krieger offers numerous options for developing custom-fit system solutions for industrial production. The portfolio includes components for module, connection, profile and linear technology. Two further elements have now been added to the latter segment.
Stainless steel unit for wash-down-capable systems
The E-II stainless steel linear unit is now available in size 50. The range with single-tube axes for light to heavy adjustment tasks now includes diameters of 30, 40 and 50 mm. Their versions with right-hand or left-hand threads as well as right-hand and left-hand threads open up great flexibility in planning. Key components of size 50 - including the guide tube and spindle - are made of stainless steel. The end elements are fitted with a drain hole for media such as water as standard. Like the entire E-II stainless steel range, the linear unit can be washed down, is corrosion-resistant and is suitable for use in the food and beverage industry, not least due to the FDA-compliant lubricant used. The E-II 50 works with a 20x4 trapezoidal threaded spindle. RK Rose+Krieger is thus also expanding the performance spectrum of its E-II range, which now extends from 1,283 mm to 2,704 mm maximum stroke.
All-rounder for simple adjustment tasks
RK Rose+Krieger has also expanded the performance range of its compact adjustment units. With the new RK Compact 160 linear unit, the manufacturer is meeting the increased market demand for higher torque loads and longer strokes. With a maximum stroke of 750 mm, the RK Compact 160 doubles the stroke of the next smaller size 120, which enables a stroke of 400 mm. The new unit even achieves exponentially higher force and torque load values than the previous sizes 30, 50, 80 and 120, reaching 800 N and 65 Nm on the X-axis (120 mm: 215 N and 32 Nm). RK Rose+Krieger is thus opening up new fields of application where the precise and safe positioning of larger loads is required. This includes, for example, the adjustment of visual systems in quality assurance or the adjustment of cross tables with stationary drilling machines or milling machines.
Customizable for specific applications
For both components, RK Rose+Krieger offers the usual extensive range of accessories for further adaptation to the respective application. For the E-II 50 stainless steel, this includes various clamping and connecting elements such as the Robust Clamps, covers and handwheels. The RK Compact 160 can be equipped with a combination bracket, among other things, and can thus be expanded with other RK Compact units to form a 2- or 3-axis system.
