GEDA GmbH was already represented in the past with some equipment at various projects of Märker Zement GmbH. The partnership of the two regional companies was extended again and a GEDA SH 2500 was used in the major project "Kiln 8".

A decade of regional cooperation
Already in the past, the two companies have worked together on various projects at Märker Zement GmbH. Since 2013, the "neighbors" at the Harburg location have been working together on individual solutions for projects at the cement plant. At the last project at the new heat exchanger a permanent GEDA SH 2500 is installed, which is best suited for the conditions of the cement industry.
Also in the last years GEDA could convince with its products and the quality and is glad to be able to deliver the optimal height access to the neighbor in Harburg, which is about 20 km away, again this time. The spatial proximity is particularly practical for the complete support approach which GEDA offers its customers for years. The service of the construction and industrial lift manufacturer does not stop with the delivery of the equipment. For example additional service trainings are offered, as well as maintenance and service contracts are arranged with the customers, in order to ensure an optimal support. Märker Zement has trusted in this quality and performance for about 10 years now.

Application of the GEDA SH2500
The GEDA SH, optimally designed for cement plants, withstands the conditions in the cement sector without any problems. The more difficult environmental conditions cannot harm the elevator thanks to the GEDA surface and corrosion protection concept. Especially in the project business, the external conditions of the places of operation are of great importance for the design and construction of the permanently mounted equipment.
Therefore, also for this project the GEDA SH was manufactured according to the specifications. The square steel mast with 0.65 x 0.65 m, along which the car with a size of 1.5 x 2.8 x 2.5 m travels, ensures a smooth ride. Märker Zement opted for an elevator with a load capacity of 2500 kg for safe and efficient height access at kiln 8. This enables the easy transport of heavy loads to a conveying height of up to 400 meters. At the same time, the elevator can transport people and material at a speed of up to 40 m/min to their place of use for maintenance and service work. In neighboring Harburg, the unit is installed on 13 floors with a lifting height of 108 meters. For optimum protection of the operating personnel,
has opted for high car hinged doors with dimensions of 1.5 x 2.0 m. The doors are made of stainless steel. The dimensions, as well as the load capacity of the equipment vary from project to project and can be customized on request.

Further GEDA products in use
On the premises of Märker Zement in Harburg also another permanent GEDA device is in use. The GEDA 3700 ZP P is attached to another building in the cement plant and lifts material and people with up to 3700 kg to the 1st floor and back to the ground. Apart from the GEDA SH 2500, three other SHs are in use at Märker Zement GmbH. A GEDA SH 1000, a GEDA SH 2000 and a GEDA SH 850 are a great support every day.
During various construction works GEDA elevators were also used for easier height transport. In 2013 a GEDA MULTILIFT P 12 was used and the following year a GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platform was used for support. in 2021 a GEDA BL 2000 Twin was used for the new building in order to handle the project in the best possible way.
