Change in the management

Björn Riechers takes over the management of RK Rose+Krieger GmbH from Dr. Gregor Langer

Gregor Langer, who has successfully managed the business of RK Rose+Krieger GmbH since 2021 and during this time has been able to further expand the company's successful concept - implementing innovative solutions in close customer dialog and generating added value for customers through solution-oriented consulting - will leave the company on June 16, 2023. On June 1, 2023, he will hand over the RK management and the management of the Automation Modules division of the Phoenix Mecano Group to Björn Riechers.

"It is important for me to emphasize that exclusively private reasons have triggered this step and that it is therefore very difficult for me to leave RK Rose+Krieger and Phoenix Mecano," said Gregor Langer, who will take on a new professional challenge near his home town after leaving RK.

He has served as Managing Director of RK Rose+Krieger since July 2021 and has initiated many important changes for the strategic further development of the Automation Modules business unit in a short period of time. For example, together with the team he developed a strategic target picture with a stronger distinction between the business models for the components and systems business. In the future, the components business is to grow more strongly through the RK systems business. To implement this, he aligned the company more strongly to the focus sectors of intralogistics and packaging technology under the approach "simplify and focus to grow stronger" and introduced business development management in sales. "The strategy as well as the path taken to implement it remain valid and will continue to be implemented under the leadership of the new Managing Director, Mr. Björn Riechers," emphasizes Gregor Langer.

The handover process to the successor is currently taking place. Björn Riechers studied industrial engineering (mechanical engineering) at the Technical University of Berlin and brings with him extensive experience as a manager and consultant in the areas of sales, marketing and management in industry. From 2014 to 2022, he was CEO of the LKE Group, a manufacturer of material handling solutions. Prior to that, he was a member of the group management team at the Hoppecke Group and the international management team at Linde Material Handling, a leading manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. At RK Rose+Krieger, Björn Riechers can primarily contribute his experience in international cooperation and system development and also drive forward topics such as digitalization, sustainability and workplace ergonomics:

"The goal definition of further developing RK Rose+Krieger's successful component business with the help of solution and system offerings resonates very well with my wealth of experience, and I look forward to consistently continuing on the chosen path with RK Rose+Krieger's outstanding global team. As our DNA, the component remains an important guarantor for our success. With the solutions and systems business developed and to be further expanded, we will successfully continue our growth strategy with the global subsidiaries of the Phoenix Mecano Group."
