The compact DC/DC converters in the PMDS/PCMDS30 series are suitable for PCB and chassis mounting. They are designed in current-fed push-pull technology. The advantages of this circuit concept are wide input voltage ranges with constant efficiency, transformers with good coupling and low leakage inductance, which can also be used for direct control of the secondary-side synchronous rectification.
