STRAPANO, the innovative protection system from ARNOLD, has all the advantages of a cover with telescopic sheets, but does away completely with bellows in its design.

A functional element picks up the movement of the folded material and transmits a counter-torque to each individual sheet in the working area. This ensures optimum sealing over the entire travel path. Hot and sharp-edged chips in the work area are reliably wiped off the almost uniformly sealed surface of the sheets sliding against each other. In addition, the even contact pressure ensures smooth and quiet running.

The STRAPANO protection system consists of metal and an inherently rigid plastic material (thermoplastic elastomer).

The combination of material and geometry ensures a very long service life. The cover can be extended or lengthened as required thanks to its modular design and the tool-free assembly and disassembly of all components.
