ACE wire rope springs: mastering vibrations and shocks under the most difficult conditions

ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH is launching a new product series in the field of vibration technology: wire rope springs. This expands the portfolio for damping and isolating vibrations and shocks as well as for decoupling vibrations with solutions that can be used even under the most adverse conditions. All representatives of the three new product families are particularly resistant to heat, cold, acids, seawater and UV radiation. At the same time, they offer high vibration and shock-absorbing properties over the long term.

Keeping harmful shocks and impacts, oscillations and vibrations and the associated noise away from people and machines is playing an increasingly important role in everyday life. A professionally stabilized mounting of machines and systems allows them to work more accurately, makes measurement results possible in the first place and prevents the transmission of vibrations to adjacent rooms and the wider environment. In this context, the new wire rope and compact springs, like all ACE products, are characterized by their lightweight design and wide variety. They complement the existing product range, which extends from extremely low-frequency insulating air spring elements to ready-to-install rubber-metal insulators and insulation panels. With this range, ACE is already able to offer designers customized shock absorption and vibration isolation for almost all applications.

The addition of wire rope springs considerably expands the range of applications and is ideal for all applications where shocks and vibrations need to be brought under control even in extreme situations, sometimes simultaneously. At the same time, very few environments can harm these robust machine elements. Their superiority under difficult conditions is due to the material used and its unique design. Manufactured entirely from resistant aluminum alloys or stainless steel on request, they not only withstand a wide range of external influences, but are also subject to virtually no aging processes on the inside. This results in a high cost-benefit advantage for the user, particularly in the long term. This aspect is supported by the fact that the elements are maintenance-free.
