Insulated Conductor Systems (U10 und FABA 100) by Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG
A true classic from VAHLE: the U10 was developed back in the mid-1980s as part of the advance of the electrified monorail system.
Since then, we have continuously improved the insulated conductor rail and expanded it into an intelligent overall system by combining it with our systems for data transmission, positioning and control. The durable and low-maintenance U10 is primarily used in manufacturing and production lines in the automotive industry, but is also a popular and proven means of power and data transmission in the intralogistics sector.
Thanks to the small installation space and individually manufactured injection-moulded parts to accommodate the individual rail elements, the U10 can be flexibly adapted to almost any track layout.
The U10 is contact-protected for safe use. Its individual insulation allows any number of poles, while the specially shaped protective conductor prevents unintentional polarity reversal and thus the electrification of the vehicle.
Thanks to its high compatibility with other VAHLE products, the U10 conductor rail can be integrated into your system as a vSystem system solution. vSystem then offers a complete system with the U10 for power transmission, APOS Optic for positioning, SMGM for data transmission, DCS for control and the VAHLE Smart Collector System for diagnostics.
The FABA100 busbar system complements our portfolio in the 100 ampere busbar range. The FABA100 system offers an equally wide range of possible applications, similar to the U10 busbar. Thanks to its simple connector technology, the FABA100 is very easy to install, especially when it comes to system extensions and conversions. No special tools are required. The FABA100 is used wherever reverse polarity protection is not required for the protective conductor.
