The Kübler Group is one of the three most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany Companies

Outstanding across the board: In the scientific selection process, we achieved an outstanding third place in size category C (over 200 employees).

This marks the fourth time we’ve been named one of Germany’s most innovative small and medium-sized enterprises—and this year, for the first time, we’re among the top three companies in our size category.

The awards ceremony took place on June 26 as part of the German SME Summit in Heidelberg. There, former Federal President Christian Wulff presented the TOP 100 seal to the Kübler Group’s executive board and management. At Kübler, innovation stems primarily from the dedication of our employees and close collaboration with customers, universities, and technology partners. Together, we develop solutions that are consistently geared toward real-world requirements.

At Kübler, innovation is a team effort. We deliberately give our employees the freedom to develop and drive new ideas forward. One example of this is our internal “Höhle der Löwen” competition: Seven development teams used their spare capacity to develop new product ideas into functional prototypes within four months. Many of these ideas are already being incorporated into the next generation of products.

This approach is complemented by “My Day.” Every other Friday, employees in development can step away from their day-to-day work and collaborate across departments to work on new ideas and creative solutions. This is how we create space for innovation and foster collaboration across team boundaries.

In our day-to-day development work as well, product management, application engineering, and development work closely together to translate customer requirements into innovative products and system solutions. At the same time, we are continuously expanding our portfolio and, guided by the principle “Easy to work with,” are making collaboration with our customers ever simpler and more efficient.

The TOP 100 award confirms our commitment to innovation. Above all, however, it is a recognition of our employees’ creativity, dedication, and collaboration. Their wealth of ideas and openness to new approaches form the foundation that will enable us to continue developing the solutions of tomorrow.

About the TOP 100

Since 1993, the TOP 100 innovation competition has honored medium-sized companies that stand out for their particularly systematic and successful innovation management. The decisive factor is not a single new product, but the overall picture: strategy, innovation culture, processes, market orientation, and measurable economic success.
Nikolaus Franke of the Vienna University of Economics and Business serves as the scientific director.

The mentor is former Federal President Christian Wulff. Project partners include the Fraunhofer Society and the BVMW, among others.
