A day for everyone who designs, operates, modernizes, or maintains elevators—featuring practical knowledge, current industry topics, and direct interaction with experts

How can elevators be installed in buildings with challenging structural conditions? What impact will the phase-out of 2G have on existing emergency call systems? In which areas can artificial intelligence already be put to good use? How can digitalisation and the IoT help address the shortage of skilled workers?

Elevator Day 2026 will address these questions and more. In collaboration with Henning, Hydroware, Kollmorgen, Kronenberg, RIEDL Aufzüge and Telegärtner Elektronik, Kübler is inviting you to a day combining current developments with practical applications and direct interaction between experts.

The event will address topics that are shaping the industry today and will continue to do so in the future. Topics will range from intelligent overload detection and new requirements for elevator emergency call systems to AI, IoT, and sophisticated architectural applications. Elevator Day offers diverse perspectives on current challenges and technical developments.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Practical Knowledge: Expert presentations on current industry topics
• Direct exchange
• A unique venue

From Practice, For Practice

What does the increasing digitalization actually mean for day-to-day elevator operations? What possibilities does AI already offer today? And what solutions can help make existing systems future-proof?

The presentations and workshops address precisely these kinds of questions. The focus is not only on new technologies, but above all on their practical application and relevance to the elevator industry.

One example is the transition of elevator emergency calls in the wake of the 2G shutdown: What are the key considerations when retrofitting existing systems? Intelligent overload measurement also demonstrates how modern technology can solve specific challenges in elevators.

A Day for the Entire Elevator Industry

Elevator Day is aimed at everyone who designs, operates, modernizes, or maintains elevators. Whether you’re a technical expert in service and maintenance, a designer, an operator, or a manager of modernization projects, the various topics provide points of reference for different areas of elevator technology.
In addition to technical insights, the event therefore also focuses on personal exchange. After all, especially when technologies and requirements are changing rapidly, dialogue within the industry is a vital component for understanding developments and learning from one another.
