AFS58: Intelligent safety. Precise positioning for demanding applications
When applications need to come to a safe standstill, start up precisely and operate reliably over the long term, every pulse counts.
The new AFS58 safety encoder combines functional safety, a robust design and easy integration into a reliable solution for the BG66, BG75 and BG95 motor series.
With a Sin/Cos signal, a resolution of 2,048 pulses (incremental) and designed to meet high demands, the AFS58 absolute encoder, with a diameter of 58 mm, is ideally suited for industrial environments. The standardised M12 connectors and the 5-volt power supply facilitate integration into existing systems.
High safety and easy integration
The AFS58 expands the Dunkermotoren portfolio with a functionally safe Sin/Cos encoder certified up to SIL 2 and Performance Level d. The combination of high measurement quality, a defined interface and a compact design supports safety-critical applications wherever the position, speed or direction of movement of an axis must be reliably detected
