The H2 roadshow initiated by the Heilbronn area economic development agency started this year at GEMÜ's Niedernhall-Waldzimmern site. Under the motto "Future hydrogen - experience solutions, share impulses", the valve manufacturer GEMÜ offered trade visitors practical insights into state-of-the-art testing methods and its innovative valve solutions for the hydrogen market.
One focus of the event was the company's own hydrogen test bench, which was presented during guided tours. In the future, GEMÜ will test its valve solutions with helium and 100% hydrogen in realistic test environments. The results will form the basis for objective quality assurance and documented product safety - two key requirements of the hydrogen industry.
"The test bench enables us to carry out leakage measurements under realistic conditions in a quantitatively measurable, automated and repeatable manner. This not only makes test results objectively traceable, but also creates a transparent basis for product quality and test processes for our customers," explains Jinesh Dedhiya, Head of Market Segment Management at GEMÜ.
The most important advantages of the test bench at a glance:
In addition to a tour of the test bench, the event featured specialist presentations on current developments in valve technology and an interactive demonstration that clearly showed the physical properties of hydrogen. The positive feedback from participants confirmed the interest in practical solutions for the hydrogen sector.
With the test bench, GEMÜ is positioning itself as a reliable partner for plant engineering in the hydrogen sector. The company sees the further development of its testing technologies as an important building block for reliably meeting the future requirements of the hydrogen economy.
