PFISTERER takes over long-standing partner Power CSL
- Expansion of the portfolio to include underwater solutions

PFISTERER Holding SE, international quality leader in electrical connection technology for energy infrastructure, announces the full acquisition of Power CSL, effective April 2, 2025. Power CSL is a leading specialist engineering company providing subsea cable connection products and services to the global offshore industry. The British engineering company is a longstanding business partner of PFISTERER; both companies can look back on more than ten years of successful cooperation. This strategic acquisition strengthens PFISTERER's market position in electrical connection technology and enables the company to expand its portfolio to include solutions for subsea applications with immediate effect. Power CSL generated sales of around EUR 3.5 million in the 2024 financial year and is highly profitable. the parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS

PFISTERER's expertise in electrical connection technology and Power CSL's know-how in the development of subsea connection housings and integrated connection systems for fiber optic cables (fiber optic connection systems) form an ideal combination for offshore applications. The global offshore sector, which already plays an important role today, is expected to experience extremely strong growth in the coming years. The two companies recently successfully completed a joint development project in which a universal repair joint for submarine cables was developed for the transmission system operator TenneT, which offers considerable advantages for logistics and spare parts management.

"The acquisition of Power CSL is another milestone in our company's development," says Management Board member and spokesman Johannes Linden. "It enables us to expand our product portfolio and now also offer our customers solutions for underwater applications." Power CSL will be integrated into the structure of PFISTERER Holding SE as a wholly owned subsidiary. This will result in technical synergy effects and an optimized use of resources, from which the customers of PFISTERER and Power CSL will benefit significantly. "By integrating Power CSL, PFISTERER will be able to offer underwater joints for high-voltage submarine cables from a single source in the future - a decisive step towards strengthening its own market position and opening up new fields of application," adds board member Dr. Konstantin Kurfiss.

The acquisition is a consistent part of PFISTERER Holding SE's long-term growth strategy.
