GEDA on an exclusive construction site in the golden city

Several GEDA devices are helping to complete the exclusive apartments in the new Prague building complex.

In the Prague building complex "Rezidence Nuselsky Pivovar", new and exclusive apartments are being built with the help of several GEDA devices.

With the help of five GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platforms and three GEDA Maxi 120 S, the work can be completed in the shortest possible time.

With over 1.3 million inhabitants (as of January 2023), Prague is the most populous city in the
Czech Republic. The high demand for living space requires the new apartments at Rezidence Nuselsky Pivovar to be completed on time. The five GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platforms and three GEDA Maxi 120 S are being used here.

The new apartments are part of the "Nusle Brewery" project and offer a large selection of apartments, whether studios, family apartments or spacious penthouses with terraces. The modern furnishings and the high-quality materials used in the construction make the apartments exclusive. All the buildings in the complex form a closed inner courtyard, which, with its green park area, is intended to be a place for residents to relax and get together. The location between the districts of Vinohrady and Nusle
also combines a quiet environment with proximity to the city. In addition, all important stores are within walking distance and the streetcar takes you quickly to the center of Prague.

Valuable help for residential construction
In 2022, GEDA transport platforms celebrated their 25th anniversary, a sign of the quality and
performance of the equipment. The transport platforms from Asbach-Bäumenheim in Bavaria are also an indispensable aid on the Czech construction site. The urgency of the construction site requires reliable and flexible helpers, which are provided by the GEDA equipment.

From scaffolders to façade and interior fitters and roofers, all workers use GEDA equipment to complete their work. The very limited construction site area is no obstacle for the GEDA devices. The five GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platforms were set up at a height of 34 m and reach 15 floors. These are secured with GEDA Comfort platform doors to ensure a smooth and safe transfer from the equipment to the scaffolding.
With a platform size of 1.45 m x 3.3 m and a load capacity of 2000 kg, the BS platform of the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP is ideally suited for transporting heavy materials. But the workers could also be brought to their workplace without any problems, as the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP can transport up to 7 people.

Due to the urgency of the project, the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platform is a great helper on the construction site, saving those responsible time and money. Nothing stands in the way of completion on time despite the difficult conditions, as the transport platforms were mounted directly on the scaffolding on the construction site. Due to the low anchoring forces of 2-mast system elevators, the static calculation by HR System from Frydek Mistek made it possible to install the anchors in this way
.

Small elevator - big impact
With a load capacity of 120 kg and a speed of up to 60 m/min, the GEDA Maxi 120 S is the ideal helper for façade builders. On the Prague construction site, the rope hoist also provides good service to façade workers when transporting façade panels and insulation. Just like the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platforms, the GEDA Maxi 120 S is mounted at a height of 34 m. When fully loaded, however, it can reach up to 70 m. For the transportation of sensitive materials, it is also possible to switch to a lifting speed of 20 m/min. Thanks to the large selection of accessories, the GEDA Maxi 120 S can be equipped for all purposes and proves to be a great helper on construction sites of all kinds.

The special feature of the construction site was the use of the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP transport platforms, which were mounted directly to the scaffolding. Due to the scope and logistics of the project, HR System from Frydek Mistek, with a branch in Prague, had to carry out the statistical calculations and use the results to carry out the assembly work. This took place in stages from June 2023 to August 2023. The construction was a challenge, but it was overcome thanks to the excellent performance in the field of logistics and coordination of all craftsmen on the construction site. Thanks to the efficiency of our equipment and the capabilities of HR System, everything went smoothly, on time and to the satisfaction of everyone involved.
