French weaving mill invests in Stäubli to meet ESG requirements

French weaving company Les Tissages de Charlieu (LTC) has installed 40 new SX PRO Jacquard machines in the first quarter of 2023. This is not the first acquisition of Stäubli Jacquard machines, but this time the investment was made as part of LTC's global ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) strategy.

Environmental impact is an important criterion for LTC when selecting these new Jacquard machines. Designed for lower power consumption, the Stäubli SX PRO Jacquard machines are perfectly suited to meet the company's sustainability and ESG goals. Another key factor is the durability of Stäubli Jacquard machines. LTC's premises feature Stäubli Jacquard machines that have been in operation for more than 20 years.

The 40 new SX PRO Jacquard machines purchased by LTC were mounted on newly installed weaving machines that the company mainly uses to process recycled yarns as part of a circular economy scenario. LTC and Stäubli are contributing to a greener future in the textile industry: LTC with its global ESG strategy and Stäubli with its highly efficient, energy-saving and sustainable solutions.
