Safety coupling SKW-KP

The SKW-KP safety coupling for direct drives is a flexible and backlash-free overload coupling which combines a metal bellows coupling attachment with a safety coupling. As a result, the coupling provides both protection against overloads or collisions and compensation for misalignment.

The safety coupling section offers a cost-effective keyway connection and an integrated deep groove ball bearing for high bearing forces. The metal bellows coupling attachment comes with a 4-shaft bellows and the particularly easy-to-fit EASY clamping hub.

It is suitable for torque ranges from 2 to 9000 Nm. In the metal bellows coupling attachment, it can be used for shaft diameters from 6 to 140 mm, and the safety coupling part for diameters from 6 to 100 mm.
