Particularly compact metal bellows coupling

For gearboxes with flange

The compact KGE metal bellows coupling is a tailor-made solution for all gearboxes with a drive flange (DIN-EN-ISO 9409-1). This system unit impresses above all with its particularly short design and maximum utilization of the gearbox's rigidity. This allows the customer both a very compact machine design and extremely short positioning times. On the output side, the clutch is equipped with the easy-to-install EASY clamping hub, while the all-metal design makes it particularly robust. A 6-shaft variant has been added to the already proven 2- and 4-shaft variants.

A modern micro-plasma welding process is used to create secure and durable connections between metal bellows and stainless steel or steel hubs with reproducible quality. The welded connection meets the highest requirements, particularly in terms of absolute freedom from play, high concentricity and maximum torsional rigidity.

In contrast to bonded joints, it is absolutely and indefinitely durable even under critical operating conditions (-50 to +300°C, chemicals).
