Coupling with flange

With the compact metal bellows coupling KGE, a tailor-made solution has been developed for all gear units with input flange (DIN-EN-ISO 9409-1). This system unit is particularly impressive due to its especially short design with maximum utilization of the rigidity of the gear unit. This allows the customer both a very compact machine design and extremely short positioning times. On the output side, the clutch is equipped with the easy-to-fit EASY clamping hub, and the all-metal design makes it particularly robust. In addition to the already proven 2- and 4-shaft variants, a 6-shaft variant has been added.

By means of a modern micro-plasma welding process, secure and durable connections are created between metal bellows and stainless steel or steel hubs with reproducible quality. The welded connection meets the highest requirements, especially with regard to absolute freedom from play, high concentricity and maximum torsional stiffness.

In contrast to bonded connections, it is absolutely and indefinitely fatigue-resistant even under critical operating conditions (-50 to +300°C, chemicals).
