Generate 25 tons of clamping force with 130 Nm tightening torque

The optimized SC power clamping screw from JAKOB Antriebstechnik is used in a variety of applications. It has proven itself in presses, punches, machine tools as well as in fixture construction and equipment design. There are 4 standardized sizes with graduated thread diameters available, as well as a special series with particularly high clamping forces.

The SC power clamping screw contains a special internal element that acts as a mechanical force amplifier. It produces particularly high clamping forces with comparatively low tightening torques and maximum operational reliability. The wedge clamping system, which is self-locking in any position, offers a clamping stroke of up to 3 mm.

In addition to the proven sizes of M36, M48, M64 and M80, JAKOB also offers a special version SC 100. With it, clamping forces of up to 250 Nm can be generated with only 130 Nm tightening torque. In order to obtain reproducible clamping force values, operation is ideally carried out with a torque wrench.
