Talking about smart BLDC motors with integrated electronics, Dunkermotoren has been number 1 market leader for years. With the new BG 66 dMove they launched a new generation with innovative features and a power output, which is up to 50% higher than the one of the predecessor model. Beside the simple speed- and positioning control, the BG 66 dMove is compatible for CANopen interfaces. But furthermore, controllable with free definable digital inputs, to provide the highest flexibility for individual customer applications. The BG 66 provides cost-effective servo technology especially for applications without a high resolution encoder.

As part of a product partnership with Siemens the motor series BG 45, BG 65(S), BG 75 and BG 95 are going to be available in a specific version, which is compatible to the new SIMATIC MICRO DRIVE servo drive system. Because of the simple drive configuration with the TIA-Selection-Tool, the time for engineering is going to be much shorter. And due to the use of PROFIsafe, a limited torque is guaranteed. The communication with SIMATIC MICRO DRIVE takes place through PROFINET IRT via PROFIsafe and PROFIdrive profiles.

An additional product highlight which will be presentend on SPS show is the high integrated motor unit with a hub gearbox, especially designed for AGVs. The unit stands out due to its short and robust construction, high efficiency and an outstanding radial load capacity. Optionally integrated into the system and available are an encoder, a brake as well as a motion controller with Safe Torque Off and a bus interface.
