Four trade show days in distant India
Business transactions, high-quality trade visitors and more participants than in 2014: bauma Conexpo India, which took place at HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi from December 12 to 15, 2016, underscored the fact that there are signs of a turnaround in the Indian market for
construction machinery.
With over 31,000 professional visitors including top decision-makers from the
construction machinery sector and 647 exhibitors from 30 countries, bauma Conexpo India continues its success story with exhibition floor space having also expanded from 130,000 m² in 2014 to 150,000 m². This trade fairwas created through the Joint Venture of two successful trade show organisers, Messe MünchenInternational and AEM, which represents the construction machinery, building material machines,
mining machines and construction vehicles sector. Global market leaders and the Indian industry meet here every two years in order to showcase their latest products to their customers. Wherever the international construction machinery sector comes together, the Bavarian construction
hoist manufacturer GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co. KG is of course also present.
Therefore, from 12 to 15 December 2016 together with its partner company Ispat Infrastructure India (Pvt.) Ltd, GEDA presented a selection of its current product range. Ispat is responsible for the sales of GEDA products and the associated services in India. The course was set for this collaboration back in 2010 and since then several important construction projects in India have been completed together. The big
hoist sector in particular is a growing market in India and has big potential.
Highlight GEDA SBL 2000
The new personnel and material hoist GEDA SBL 2000 was the highlight at the well visited GEDA booth. Special solutions, aligned exactly to individual building requirements, are not required in most cases in markets outside Europe. In contrast with other, variably adjustable hoist solutions from GEDA, the new GEDA SBL 2000 is therefore only available in a fixed platform size of 3.20 x 1.45 x 2.10 metres, a standard load capacity of 2000 kg and 23 people, as well as a hoist speed of 55 m/min and a discharge head of 250 m.
“We also want to offer our customers outside Europe height access solutions that are specially tailored to their needs. We have achieved that with the GEDA SBL 2000,” says Managing Director Johann Sailer.
The title “Made in Germany” also stands for quality outside Europe. According to Sailer, it is important to stress in this context that with the GEDA SBL 2000 a product optimally tailored to meet the needs of target markets outside European has been developed and manufactured entirely in Germany. In future, the GEDA SBL 2000 will be available both as a single and a twin cabin.
The GEDA height access specialists are pleased with the four successful days at the exhibition in New-Delhi and are now already preparing for the next event, when the company is exhibiting again in Munich from 16 to 21 January 2017 at BAU.
