To achieve this, FUHR draws on a unique history of experience combined with the latest specialist knowledge. This is how technically advanced products with innovative character are created.

Quality and efficiency in production

For more than 160 years, we have been passionately manufacturing locks and other diverse locking solutions at our headquarters in Heiligenhaus. The close proximity of our 4 plants to each other guarantees an efficient workflow. Each production stage is strictly monitored and documented according to the conditions of ISO 9001:2015. This is how we ensure consistent manufacturing quality of our products.

Added value on site

Our main plant is home to forming technology - the heart of our production. Stamped from coil, our presses and special tools produce the numerous components required to manufacture a high-quality lock. Additionally required components are exclusively purchased by FUHR from highly specialized suppliers, most of which are located in the region around Heiligenhaus. In the internal assembly areas, lock assemblies and electronic components are put together with machine support and tested for quality and function.

Strict test criteria

We already adhere to a very high quality standard during product development and design. Both internal and external tests ensure that only flawless and technically mature products reach the market.
