This year, FUHR is using the important industry event FENSTERBAU FRONTALE to present itself to visitors and interested parties with a completely new trade fair presence. The specialist and leading manufacturer of high-quality locking systems is thus making a statement about the future. On over 250 square meters, visitors will experience an inspiring variety of modern multi-point locking and access solutions for all door materials and constructions. The stand design underlines FUHR's high quality standards as well as the claim to progress with which it has continuously expanded its product portfolio in the diverse complete ranges. Numerous extensions for aluminum, steel, PVC and rebated and flush timber doors will be presented. This once again underlines the attractiveness of the proven system solutions for a flexible range of applications, including real competitive advantages.

SmartAccess turns the smartphone into a key

The new SmartAccess Bluetooth access control system was exceptionally well received by visitors to the trade fair. At the heart of the system is the SmartAccess module SAM, a particularly compact Bluetooth receiver that is installed out of sight. This gives every door a smart access solution in no time at all. SAM also impresses with its flexibility in installation and use. It can simply be fitted to the motor of any FUHR lock and can also be easily combined with motorized locks from other manufacturers. And thanks to a retrofittable faceplate, it can also be used flexibly, e.g. with electric strikes or garage door openers, making SmartAccess ideal for simple retrofitting.


Operation only requires a free SmartAccess app. Thanks to the auto-unlock function, doors can be opened easily when approached. And the Bluetooth function means it can be used independently of Wi-Fi or a mobile phone connection. The app also offers simple key management, temporary user invitations, status messages and a journal. SmartAccess also enables other access control options: classic door opening with the SmartAccess Key radio key or with SmartAccess SmartTouch, the KeylessGo system for the door and, in future, multiscan SmartAccess, the finger scan with a modern surface sensor.



Variety of solutions for upmarket residential buildings and properties

The proven autosafe and autotronic automatic series offer a wide range of new applications thanks to their further developments and are particularly popular for upmarket requirements. For example, prestigious, large pivot doors can be equipped with automatic multi-point locking systems that lock on both sides and can be conveniently opened by motor. Here, the intelligent autotronic 836PK uses its switching contacts to ensure optimum control of both motors. An optional battery module guarantees an uninterrupted power supply, even if the power fails. Optimized escape door locks with added value. Automatic panic locks of function B now also impress with their 4-in-1 solution with a practical changeover of the door and opening direction. This saves storage space and offers flexibility in meeting customer requirements. Additionally optimized: The locks with panic function E are also characterized by a simple changeover from secured permanent unlocking to a day latch function. This means that these automatic locks can now also be combined with an E-opener. The autosafe 837P automatic lock is an innovation. It has been specially developed for property and passage doors with controlled access. The outside lever handle can be electrically activated for temporary or permanent access to the door. The intelligent features include a wide range of feedback signals and a universal power supply.












Another highlight: the autosafe 837PX.

Its characteristics: locking convenience with a future, innovative, with inductive power transmission and electrically activated outside handle. No wiring in the door leaf - power is supplied contactlessly via the locking part, making the autosafe 837PX particularly attractive for retrofitting. Controlled access is via Bluetooth, as the induction lock already has SmartAccess integrated. The door can be opened conveniently using a smartphone or SmartKey. The door can be opened from the inside at any time thanks to the certified panic function (EN 179/1125).
