Since the machines are in continuous use, suppliers must react quickly in the event of damage. Spare parts, especially wearing parts, should be available quickly. Long downtimes cause high costs and should therefore be reduced and avoided if possible.

Bottle filling machines work with counter pressure or suction. These filling machines must therefore always have sufficient pressure. Tube filling machines work manually, automatically and semi-automatically. Here it is mainly a matter of precision, as many different work steps have to be passed through. Each one must be completed, otherwise the next one cannot be started. Tube filling machines for wax-like substances work with heat to make the filling compound malleable for a short time. This means that the manufacturer must provide the necessary temperature control for the machines.
