Magnetic Hyperthermia by Quantum Design GmbH

The DM100 series is the integral, immediate and reliable solution for laboratory tests on nano heating research whose major application is magnetic hyperthermia. It can be used for the magnetic characterization of colloids and any in vitro and in vivo experiments with magnetic nanostructured materials, which absorb the energy of the AC field and transfer it to heat. This effect is called inductive heating and is used in the characterization of magnetic nanoparticles like colloids or ferrofluids, but also in material science, pharmacy and medicine.
