The sniffer probes in the XF 1 set consist of different passive probe heads which have been designed for detailed magnetic or electric field measurements in the layout, on components and IC pins. The sniffer probes are connected to the 50 Ω input of a spectrum analyser. All probe heads measure magnetic or electric field with a frequency range from 100 MHz to 6 GHz.
