The FEIN KBB 30, 38, 40 and 60, is designed solely for efficient core drilling.

The FEIN KBB 30 is an extremely compact core drilling unit for on-site drilling. With a motor housing made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic, it weighs just 10 kg (according to EPTA), making it suitable for working at heights, for example in the construction of industrial and other large-scale premises or steel structures. The FEIN KBB 30 is suitable for diameters of up to 30 mm and depths of up to 50 mm and will be available from August. The merger with Jancy means direct benefits for FEIN users, because the new HSS core drills incorporate many years of production expertise previously marketed under the Slugger brand. The FEIN HSS NOVA, a high-quality core drill, is now available with Weldon and QuickIN tool mountings for diameters of 12 mm - 60 mm and depths of 25 mm, 50 mm and 75 mm. The FEIN HSS DURA models come with titanium nitrite coating for high heat resistance and have excellent smooth work progress.

A powerful motor and mechanical gearbox deliver optimum speed to the HSS core drill. With the exception of the FEIN KBB 30, the motor and drill jig are made of solid cast aluminium. The tools also feature gravity-fed cooling lubrication for long service life and precision cutting. The concealed motor wiring and the option of mounting the hand wheel on either side make it easier to work in tight spaces. The spindle guide not only ensures accurate, efficient drilling but also prevents the core becoming stuck by pushing the centering bit down and ejecting the core once drilling is complete.
