Power-on brakes (E) by Dunkermotoren GmbH
In addition to motors and gearboxes, Dunkermotoren also offers encoder systems.
Working current brakes are available on request. With this design, braking takes place when voltage is applied or current flows. Protective covers IP 54 or higher are available for all brakes. Combinations of incremental encoders and brakes are possible. Depending on the motor/brake combination, protection ratings up to IP 65 are even possible. The use of a freewheeling diode is recommended to protect the direct current contact of your control unit against contact erosion.
