Dunkermotoren develops and manufactures gearboxes, which are notable for very compact design, low weight and excellent efficiency.

Spiro Tec Gearboxes (STG) are gearboxes with right-angled output. The core of this product line is the spiral toothed gear set. This set makes it possible to responsibly transfer high torques with small axle distance in very little space. Both toothing parts are made out of hardened steel, so the gearbox works wear-free. That's the reason why not only the toothing parts have got a very high lifetime, but also the lubricant stays free from contamination that again means a protection of the drive shaft. The housing is conducted in monoblock-design which leads to a very high precision of the gear meshing and an improved rigidity of the drive system. Impressive is the smooth running of the Spiro Tec gearbox that reaches the level of worm gearboxes.
