This material is characterised by its suitability for food contact, with comparable mechanical properties to S-Ply® yellow. Conforming with the relevant industry standards, the material is distinctively coloured blue and offers antimicrobial protection for its service life.

  • Suitable for the food industry according to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and FDA Sec. 177.2280

  • modified epoxy resin matrix with antimicrobial properties
  • Colour: Blue
  • Same mechanical properties as S-Ply® yellow
  • long-term strength confirmed by IMA Material Research and Application Technology Dresden
  • Proof of antibacterial efficacy in accordance with ISO 22196:2011
  • To reduce notching and shear stress during installation, we recommend reinforcing the clamping surfaces with glass fibre-reinforced polymer GFRP blue
