The highlight: A new design principle

The secret of the hitherto unique ratio between clamping travel and overall length lies in the design of the DoRa ratchet load clamp. Instead of two threaded spindles of the same design, which are turned "against each other" in the closed tensioner, the DoRa ratchet load tensioner has two different tensioning spindles.
One spindle has a larger diameter and is hollow inside, the other has a smaller diameter and fits into the cavity of the larger spindle. When closed (retracted), one spindle is threaded into the other.
