Catena is a self-supporting, flexible guide system that can be installed in movable protective covers for vertical applications or in roof covers.

It was developed by ARNO ARNOLD based on its expertise in cable drag chains. By integrating an additional innovative chain element, a flexible bellows guide chain was created.

Catena has a high inherent rigidity in the load direction, but is so flexible that it can be diverted "around the corner", e.g. into the cabin wall. In principle, Catena is a flexible guide where both ends are in motion.
