The medium-sized construction and industrial lift manufacturer GEDA from Asbach-Bäumenheim in Bavaria has installed a permanent transport platform at one of the world's leading agricultural machinery manufacturers.

At Claas in Harsewinkel (North Rhine-Westphalia), a GEDA 3700 ZP P has recently been ensuring the reliable and powerful transportation of bulky welding equipment from the first floor to the second floor - directly to where it is needed.

Tailor-made solution for special requirements

The task was anything but ordinary: the customer attached great importance to a sufficiently large platform, rather than the high load capacity of up to 3,700 kg or 7 persons. This permanent transport platform with dimensions of 2.90 x 5.00 m is ideal for conveniently loading the bulky equipment with a forklift or pallet truck.

A special highlight is the electric ramp, which enables ground-level access. In addition, the transport platforms from GEDA can not only be used for transporting materials, but can also be switched over for transporting people with a small handle. Although in this case only a transport height of one floor was required, the elevator offers a maximum transport height of up to 200 m. Additional convenience is provided by the smooth start and stop process, which is also pleasant at such low installation heights. Another plus point: no machine room is required for operation.

Continuation of a successful collaboration

GEDA is no stranger to Claas: Temporarily installed elevators from the company have already been used on construction sites before. The renewed collaboration underlines GEDA's close customer loyalty, reliable service and technical expertise.

The project for a global company like Claas is therefore considered a particularly prestigious project - and another example of how GEDA implements customized solutions for unusual requirements.
