Torque limiter for direct drives extended

The proven SKB-KP series safety clutch has been in use for decades as mechanical protection for drive units. Used in particular as collision protection in the feed axes of machine tools, it has already proven its effectiveness in hundreds of applications. As a combination of a metal bellows servo coupling and the unique JAKOB safety mechanism, the SKB-KP series is flexible, backlash-free, compensates for misalignment, has a low moment of inertia and high torsional rigidity. This ensures precise transmission of the torque. By using clamping sets, the torque setting range has been significantly increased once again, allowing clamping forces of up to 9000 Nm to be safely achieved.
