Robust draw-wire sensors for series integration & OEM

Micro-Epsilon draw-wire sensors from the wireSENSOR K and MK series are specially designed for series production for high quantities and OEM applications. They measure distances from 50 mm to 8 m and can be used at temperatures from -40 to +85 °C, depending on the model.

Predestined areas of application are medical technology applications, mobile machines such as telescopic handlers or mobile cranes as well as various industrial applications. Due to the excellent price-performance ratio, the sensors are particularly suitable for cost-sensitive applications. Thanks to their compact dimensions, the sensors also open up applications with limited installation space.

The sensors in the wireSENSOR WPS-K100 series impress with their extremely robust sensor design. The housing offers a high degree of protection up to IP67 or IP69K and is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. In addition, the separate drum and spring chamber optimally protects the spring from environmental influences. The K100 series is therefore predestined for outdoor applications. Measuring ranges up to max. 8 m can be covered in the compact sensor housing. Output signals are provided via CANopen (digital) or potentiometer, current or voltage (analog).

The draw-wire sensors can be customized for special OEM requirements that are not covered by standard models. Economical implementation can already be achieved for medium quantities, depending on the type and number of modifications.
