Tailor-made solutions at the highest level

At this year's FBM supplier fair in Bad Salzuflen, NORMTEILWERK ROBERT BLOHM, Büchen, will be focusing on its customized special solutions. The specialists for the manufacture and sale of standard and precision parts have established themselves as a trustworthy partner for customized solutions in this sector. Customers benefit from high-performance production technology and a highly qualified team of experts.

BLOHM's customized solutions are used in the mechanical engineering, automotive and aerospace industries, among others. Examples from the Büchen-based company's portfolio include rotor and worm shafts, running and drive spindles and polygonal shafts. All of these high-precision special parts are manufactured from durable high-quality or stainless steel at the northern German production site.

BLOHM produces its customized rotor shafts for manufacturers of compressors, screw spindles and high-pressure pumps, for example. Worm shafts are produced specifically for gearbox construction and are used in worm gearboxes. Both shaft types undergo a careful manufacturing process at BLOHM. "In the three production steps of turning, hardening and cylindrical grinding, we first produce a blank," explains Mathias Marbs, sales representative at BLOHM. "This is then precision ground - and our expertise here extends down to the µm range."

Wide range of mounting and support pins

BLOHM also has an extensive selection of standardized mounting and support bolts in its measuring kit. These meet the highest quality and precision requirements when fastening machine elements, stabilizing motors or securely mounting electronic components. This is primarily due to the fact that all manufacturing processes in this area are also available at the production site in Büchen and a particular focus is placed on the use of high-quality materials. As a result, the mounting and support bolts can impress with their functionality and durability in a wide range of applications.

One example from BLOHM's range of mounting studs are fixing studs with a ball head - a design that significantly simplifies the assembly process. This is because the ball attachment minimizes the blocking effect - also known as the drawer effect - if a part to be connected is positioned at an angle or the forces acting on it are not in the axis of the bolt. Depending on requirements and fit, BLOHM offers various models with different shapes of this variant.
