Inertial sensors from Micro-Epsilon measure small and large inclination angles or accelerations extremely precisely. The movement of the measured object can be static or very dynamic and can also be subject to interference factors such as impacts from neighboring systems.
For this reason, suitable, application-specific parameter sets for standard applications are available on request. This allows customers to adapt the respective sensor to their individual requirements. the parameter sets can be easily transferred to the sensor using the sensorTOOL software.
An application-specific parameter set optimizes the measurement settings of the sensor and subsequently provides very accurate measured values for the respective application. The default settings are based on typical parameter combinations that have proven themselves in the specific application. For example, parameter sets are offered for the position of the blade edge of an excavator or for measuring the tilt angle of a tractor. With the special "Factory" parameter set, an upload that does not achieve the desired improvements can be undone at any time and the sensor reset to factory settings.
The parameter sets are made available on request and are continuously expanded. Customer-specific parameter sets can also be offered as part of an OEM project or a series application.
