Focus Money presents GEMÜ with the "Digital Champion 2024" award

The Ingelfingen-based technology company GEMÜ has been named "Digital Champion" by Focus Money and Deutschlandtest for the third time in a row. GEMÜ achieved second place in the ranking of the award-winning companies in the "Mechanical and plant engineering companies" sector.

Digitalization is advancing rapidly, and companies need to address the opportunities presented by digitalization in order to remain viable and competitive and be counted as winners in their sector. In order to identify these companies, the study by the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research comprehensively analysed 12,300 companies in the categories of digitalization, technology and innovation.

The IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research collects the study results using the established "two pillar" test procedure. The first pillar is based on the methodology of social listening. In social listening, around 1.5 million mentions of the companies surveyed were found online and analyzed using artificial intelligence (AI). The second pillar involves surveying the companies using questionnaires. Here, the digitization measures are queried in various thematic blocks. The results were evaluated using a points system to determine the "Digital Champions 2024".

In the "Mechanical and plant engineering companies" sector, the valve specialist GEMÜ achieved 98.3 out of a possible 100 points and took second place in the ranking of the award-winning companies in this category.

"Digitalization is and will remain the driving force for companies that want to continue setting trends in the future. I am firmly convinced that our global digitalization measures will help the GEMÜ Group to further expand its position as a technology pioneer in the long term," says Gert Müller, Managing Partner of the GEMÜ Group, commenting on the Digital Champion 2024 award.
