In October 2023, the KARL MAYER GROUP established its own branch in Bursa to increase its presence in its important Turkish market. KARL MAYER TURKEY is intended to meet the growing demands of warp knitting and warp preparation customers in terms of after-sales service, spare parts procurement and academy. ERKO, KARL MAYER's long-standing regional partner, will focus its activities on machine sales.

Toros Greenhalgh was appointed Managing Director of KARL MAYER TURKEY on February 1, 2024. In his late thirties, Toros holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Birmingham and has extensive global experience in industrial plant engineering, renewable energy technologies and medical device sales. For the past seven years, Toros Greenhalgh has worked for ERKO in the textile machinery sector, with a particular focus on sales, service and spare parts business for KARL MAYER machines.

In his new position, Toros Greenhalgh will focus on strengthening after-sales support.

With maximum motivation and close cooperation, my employees should provide excellent support and ultimately strengthen our customer relationships," says the Managing Director.

He can build on his extensive professional experience and the support of the KARL MAYER GROUP for the tasks ahead. In particular, continuous training programs and clear communication with the specialist departments at headquarters will provide effective support for Toros Greenhalgh and his team.
