At the end of last year, KARL MAYER launched the TM 4 EL, a new, highly flexible model for the mid-range segment in the four-bar tricot machine sector. This all-rounder produces fabrics for upholstery, automotive interiors and outerwear as well as sportswear articles and home textiles and impresses with its excellent price-performance ratio.

Equipped with KARL MAYER's proven CFRP technology, the TM 4 EL is up to 30% faster than the previous four-bar tricot machine for the commodity sector. This approach has been very well received on the market. At its premiere during a product show at ITMA ASIA from November 19 to 23, 2023 at KARL MAYER (CHINA) in Changzhou City, the newcomer was a crowd-puller. The exhibited machine was already sold during the trade fair.

Guests from the fashion sector in particular showed great interest. Turkish customers appreciate the potential of the TM 4 EL for business development with major international brands. South American producers of apparel fabrics see opportunities to expand their cooperation with local brands. Chic seersucker items in particular are bringing the high-performance model with its competitive price to the attention of trend-conscious fashion manufacturers.
