Cutting-edge technology "packaged" in a modern way
For more than four decades, L.B. Bohle has stood for cutting-edge technology in the pharmaceutical industry. "Now, we in the development team have decided to combine premium technology with a modern design in the future," explains Thorsten Wesselmann, Managing Director Technology at
L.B. Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH. For a good two years, work has been carried out on the new machines - also with the support of external design specialists. L.B. Bohle will celebrate the world premiere at the Interpack in Düsseldorf in May.
Stainless steel remains synonymous with durable, robust and, if required, sterile technology. Added to this are dark elements, expressive lines and more transparency. "The uniform appearance of the new generation of machines creates immediate recognition," emphasizes Tim Remmert, Managing Director Sales. In addition to the modern appearance, however, the focus was primarily on the inner values: easy handling, fast cleaning, safe processes, transparent workflows and economical use of resources - and all this, of course, with state-of-the-art technology.
True to the Bauhaus motto "Form follows Function", leading technology will continue to represent the L.B. Bohle DNA in the future. "We have succeeded in packaging top technical performance and features in a modern guise at the same time," says Thorsten Wesselmann.
To kick off the redesign, L.B. Bohle has set its sights on three outstanding machines:
- the BRC dry granulator: the machine has been on the market since 2012 and has already been a bestseller since its launch.
- the BFC tablet coaterthe tablet coater BFC 400: The fastest and most precise tablet coater is appreciated as a bestseller worldwide due to its outstanding production results and efficiency.
-the QbCon®1 continuous granulator and dryer: since 2018, the R&D specialist has been the first to offer a true continuous solution for the difficult process of wet granulation and drying.
"We deliberately chose the complex challenges of these three plants during the re-design," explains Managing Director Tim Remmert. With these references, the technology leadership can be impressively documented.
