Confocal compact controller for industrial series applications

The new confocalDT IFD2411 compact confocal system is optimized for industrial series applications. It is supplied as a complete channel and is factory-matched to sensors with measuring ranges of 1, 2, 3 or 6 mm. the controller can be easily integrated in the control cabinet via the integrated top-hat rail mounting. With a measuring rate of up to 8 kHz and a resolution of up to 12 nm, the IFD2411 offers maximum application versatility for distance and thickness measurements, e.g. in mechanical engineering as well as in glass and smartphone production. An integrated Industrial Ethernet interface (EtherCAT) integrates the powerful sensor system directly into the PLC.
