The Heiligenhaus-based family business is starting the new financial year with confidence and is optimistic in the run-up to BAU 2023. In addition to the first new products and further developments, FUHR is presenting an extensive expansion of its customer communication, which actively focuses on dialog, knowledge transfer and support.
"We have again planned a number of things for the new year. There are interesting innovations in the multiple locking system segment as well as in the areas of customer communication and services. In recent months, great efforts have been made to further expand our services with a wide range of offers and solutions. Under the heading of customer orientation and customer centricity, we have launched a number of initiatives to underpin our attractiveness as a specialist and to provide customers and other interested parties with even more comprehensive information on modern door security. We feel obliged, already by tradition, to score again and again with new ideas and innovations across all company divisions", says marketing manager Andrea Banning.
Automatic multipoint locking systems - firmly established on high-quality front doorsAutomatic locking systems are now considered a matter of course when equipping high-quality front
doors. They meet the high demands made today on burglary resistance, tightness and ease of use at all times. FUHR locking solutions have been specially developed for this purpose and are known to have made a considerable contribution to the success of the automatic multipoint locking system. With a comprehensive automatic program, proven solutions are available that meet every expectation and are permanently convincing in use. In the private sector, in buildings, for single and double-leaf doors, or especially for panic and emergency exit doors, systematized for all materials. With numerous advantages in application and processing.
Automatic program on a growth courseThe automatic program with the unique DuoSecure technology, which guarantees reliable automatic locking at all times, is one of the most future-oriented solutions. All lock variants feature intelligent locking technology with the Type 10 secondary deadbolt - the stable latch bolt and swing bolt combination. It always guarantees a reliable locking process as well as maximum security and tightness with any door
construction, with any material.
With the locks of the autosafe 835 and autotronic 836 series, products are available here that are suitable for a wide range of applications thanks to their modular design. These range from mechanical automatic solutions to motorized variants. Sophisticated: Thanks to a retrofittable motor, the autosafe 835 can not only be unlocked by motor but, like the autotronic 836, can also be connected to the FUHR access control systems. This automatic program is designed for maximum flexibility in use - regardless of whether a standard, motorized or panic lock (1- or 2-leaf) is required. All lock variants are coordinated with the FUHR system solutions, which are characterized, among other things, by the
uniform milling and screw connections for rational, flexible processing.
As a consistent extension of the DuoSecure automatic program, an automatic panic lock with an electrically activated outside
handle will be presented for the first time at BAU in Munich. This is particularly interesting for use in exterior and interior doors in the commercial sector, where access is controlled via an electronic access system and monitoring is carried out remotely. FUHR is thus expanding its range of escape door locks to include a further alternative application, once again emphasizing its expertise in this sensitive segment.
FUHR goes digital - customer communication has been consistently expandedAs part of its customer-centric approach, FUHR is also reorganizing its customer communication and now also relies on social media. For example, Facebook and Instagram are integrated conceptually, played with relevant content and extended via the company's own YouTube channel. Here, product videos and tutorials with helpful tips for processors and users are available and provide information on the use and processing of FUHR products.
On the background, Andrea Banning notes: "We have worked intensively and comprehensively on the foundations for the realignment. Among other things, we have redesigned our company logo and will also present our trade fair presence at BAU in a new design. Of course, we have now also placed an emphasis on digital media and channels. The basis is the completely redesigned corporate website, which meets the various information needs of visitors with its clarity and simple navigation and quickly familiarizes interested parties with the world of FUHR products. Even end users can acquire basic knowledge about modern locking solutions in an easy-to-understand manner and learn more about the company."
Special attention was paid to the design of the new media library with a comprehensive range of information and working aids. In addition to the aforementioned product videos and tutorials, further pages offer specialist information on the topics of burglary protection, standards, escape route safety and much more. A configurator for the proven renovation lock program is now also available especially for end users. Thanks to its simple operation, the right product for a lock replacement or for increasing security can be found very quickly. The selected configuration can be downloaded immediately as a PDF and used for a discussion or an order at a dealer. A short explanatory video is of course also available.
