The AC/DC modules of the PM-IP67A series have been specially designed for the electrical supply of sensors and actuators in the field directly at the application to be supplied. The "Plug and Play" devices are suitable for worldwide use under extreme environmental conditions such as dust and humidity.

The outstanding feature of the PM-IP67A series is its IP67 protection. The thermoselective vacuum potting process (U.S. Patent No. 8,821,778 B2), which is unique in the world, and a connection via special 7/8" connectors enable the modules to be used in the field without interference. The encapsulation of the complete power supply electronics enables a compression of the packing density, gives the modules an extremely resistant encapsulation and thus makes them particularly resilient and robust. A further positive effect, in addition to a significant increase in service life, is the insensitivity to mechanical stress (shock and vibration), dirt and dust and moisture. Further protective measures against aggressive environmental influences in harsh environments are thus no longer necessary.
