About electrotherm GmbH

The region around Geraberg is a traditional centre of the German glass and thermometer industry and is known for the production of liquid glass thermometers, laboratory, precision and technical thermometers.

Building on these historical roots, the family business was founded in 1991 and is now being continued by the second generation. Starting with a few employees from the former thermometer factory in Geraberg, electrotherm has today developed into a sought-after specialist for electrical temperature measurement technology with 35 employees and supplies customers with resistance thermometers and thermocouples in more than 30 countries.

Measuring technology Made in Germany

The Thuringian company, located in the green heart of Germany, develops, designs and manufactures temperature measuring instruments for a wide range of applications at its site in Geraberg, especially for chemical and power plants, machine and vehicle construction, calibration laboratories, verification offices and many more.

In addition to the types in the standard range, it is the customer-specific special designs and tailor-made construction solutions, coupled with high quality at competitive prices and short delivery times, that make up the special competence of electrotherm GmbH.
