Another key factor in maintaining high quality standards is strict quality control. We always assess the coffee beans against quality criteria such as moisture content, defect count system, bean size, appearance and cupping, scoring them according to the international ‘SCAA’ standard. Cupping is carried out by our expert and certified quality control team – comprising coffee cuppers who are licensed Q-Graders – on unsorted beans (Asalan) purchased, ready stocks and prior to shipment for delivery.
